Completed 4 Fashion/Beauty galleries today with 36 images… another 4 galleries to build with another 36 images as well (hope to have that done over the weekend
Finally getting The Latest Shot (recent work) galleries posted. 4 new pages with 35 thumbnails are posted and the first 12 or so individual pages are linkd and active. I hope to finish the rest of the individual pages by the end of the week… then to start work on the Fashion galleries and The Great Peace March galleries.
I updated the images on the http://www.cooganphoto.com/ home page, adding a light border on all the images, and added 10 new images to the rotation, refresh the page to see the images change in each box.
There are 12 possible images that can show in the larger (main) box on the left, and on the right side there are 7 possible images in the top, 6 possible images in the middle, and 7 possible in the bottom, so there are plenty of different possible combinations that can be seen… it’s random which image will show when the page is refreshed (but only random to the images within each folder).
I’ve been a runner since Feb 27, 1985 and I’m happy to report that I ran 950 miles (and rode my bike over 600 miles) in 2010… my goal was to run 1,000 miles, so I’d say meeting 95% of any goal is great and I’ll try to top 1,000 miles in 2011.
I’m happy with the work I am producing for clients and myself and will continue on that path.
I purchased some photo gear this year, including a Nikon D700 and I absolutely love the high iso capabilities. I use to cringe when I had to shoot any film over 400 iso (especially color film), so the newer digital cameras make it much easier to shoot with less light, and the ability to shoot HDR images (High Dynamic Range, multiple varied exposures) has allowed me to create images I was not able to do on film, using parts of images for backgrounds etc… it’s an exciting time to be a photographer. Also purchased (2) Dynalite XP-1100 Battery Powered DC Power Inverters from a couple of photographers that were not getting much use from them. The Dynalite XP-1100 is an inverter that allows you to plug in a 1000 watt power pack and get 200 full pops on a charged battery with a recycle time of 1 second, so it’s like having two wall outlets with you at all times… they are heavy at 23 lbs each, but come in real handy when you are not near a power source and need studio quality light and don’t own or can’t bring a generator with you on location.
Here’s to a promising 2011.
Working on my website update, here are 3 of many images that I am working on.
Editing images for the cooganphoto.com “Recent Work” and “Fashion” galleries… then to start arranging the order for the galleries and make the pages. It’s a lot of work to do the update, but the last one was in Jan. 2009 so it’s about time.
After that I start to work on”The Great Peace March” photo gallery.
Finally added a lot of images to my CooganPhoto fan page on Facebook. If you like it, then please “like it.”
