It was raining (sprinkling) the morning of this shot and I was really afraid we were going to have to cancel the shoot. We set up the clubs with light stands and C-stand grip heads to keep them in place, then the lighting. We had plastic bags over the strobe heads to keep the rain off of the strobes & packs, then it stopped raining and we made the shot of Karsten Solheim... Louise showed up at the end of the shoot (for the last 3 frames of film)... I said, "just lean in like you are going to give him a kiss on the cheek..." it turned out beautifully, sometimes things just work right :-)

Lighting: Dynalite
Main light: Medium Chimera, camera / subject left
Ground lights: left & right, 10" dynalight reflectors with diffusion and 1/4 cto.
Several 10" reflectors to light the clubs, flagged to keep the light from the subject.
