Damn it was a very hot morning in Phoenix when we did this shot on the roof of Channel 10. We taped Ron's tie in place to make it look like it's a windy day, but mainly I remember it was hot... with a a long lens and low camera angle, the subject always looks heroic... look off camera, chin up and you've got the "Man of Vision" look.

Lighting: Yes, of course... 2 Dynalite strobes
Main light: Medium Chimera, camera right
Additional strobe: 10" reflector w/diffusion, 1/4 cto and black wrap Cinefoil, back and to the left to balance the daylight and light the equipment in the background.

Hasselblad 150mm lens with an 81B filter
Exposure: 1/250 sec @ f/16
Film: Fuji RDP 100
Photoshop: minimal.
