David Blum, art director for Workforce Management magazine asked for an interesting Environmental Portrait Dr. Kevin D. Gazzara for the cover story (the single shot to the left of Dr. Kevin D. Gazzara ran on the cover). He needed room for copy in the shot so I wanted a background that would accomodate the type.

As we were doing the photo shoot, we also photographed the three principles of Magna Leadership Solutions - Dr. Kevin D. Gazzara, Marleen L. Lundy, and Dr. Ali Lakhani.

Strobist info / Lighting: (no strobes)
Available light, subjects are facing North.
I put a medium size (2x3') black Flag directly ablove camera, so the subjects would have a dark area to look into; this helps reduce the squint factor for their eyes.
