Ann Stovell, Photo Editor for Worth Magazine called and asked for an environmental portrait of Tom Connelly, for a story about the best financial advisors in the country.

I wanted to find a location with a lot of cholla plants cause they are very dangerous, just like making your way through the financial waters (or desert). A huge storm was coming in and we barley got all the gear in the truck before the rain came down... I ended up leaving one of my 10" reflectors sitting by the side of the road, went back the next day and it was sitting there (I still have it to this day).

Strobist info / Lighting: (8-10) Dynalite strobes, 6500 w Honda generator, and hundreds of feet of extension cords... take a look at the cactus way in the back :-)
